Nate Cichy is a 6'1", 190-pound wide receiver from Mount Prospect, Illinois, who plays for the Illinois Fighting Illini as a true freshman. At Mount Prospect High School under head coach Dan DeBoeuf, Cichy recorded 142 catches for 2,313 yards and 28 touchdowns across his four-year career. He earned First Team All-State honors as both a junior and senior, was named Mid-Suburban League Co-Offensive Player of the Year in 2025, and served as team captain his senior year. Cichy also competed in track and field, holding school records in the 55m and 60m high hurdles and running on the school-record 4x200m relay. He was an Academic All-State selection in 2024, 2025, and 2026, and received NFF High School Scholar Athlete honors as a senior.
