Jake Renfro is a center from Mokena, Illinois, who attended Providence Catholic before playing at Cincinnati and Wisconsin. As a true freshman at Cincinnati in 2020, he made six starts in seven games and was part of an offensive line named a semifinalist for the Joe Moore Award. In 2021, he started all 14 games for the Bearcats, earning All-American Athletic Conference First Team honors while helping lead Cincinnati to the College Football Playoff. After appearing in limited action at Wisconsin due to injuries, Renfro transferred to Illinois as a redshirt senior in 2026. He holds degrees in life sciences communication from Wisconsin and a master's degree in sports leadership.
