Christian Martin is a 6'7", 300-pound left tackle from St. Rose, Louisiana who attended Destrehan High School, where he earned All-District First Team honors as a three-star recruit. He spent his first year at Colorado State redshirted in 2023, then appeared in all 13 games in 2024 primarily on goal-line and special teams packages. During the 2025 season, Martin started all 12 games at left tackle and allowed only two sacks across 490 pass blocking snaps according to analytics services. He transferred to Illinois with two years of eligibility remaining and is a redshirt junior.
