Alfred Washington is a left tackle from Pensacola, FL who attended Escambia High School before transferring to Illinois. Washington played at Northeast Mississippi CC, where he appeared in nine games during the 2025 season and eight games as a redshirt freshman in 2024. He was ranked among the nation's top junior college offensive tackles, receiving No. 4 honors from recruiting services, No. 11 from Rivals, and No. 13 from national outlets. Washington received offers from North Texas, Toledo, UTSA, Southern Miss, Marshall, Liberty, and 10 other programs before joining the Fighting Illini.
