Samuel Padgitt is a 6'2", 195-pound wide receiver from San Antonio, Texas, who prepped at East Central High School. During his high school career, he recorded 20 receptions for 223 yards as a senior and 12 receptions for 138 yards and a touchdown as a junior, earning Second Team All-District 27-6A honors in 2021. Padgitt joined Houston and appeared in one game as a sophomore in 2024, entering the Rice contest on September 14 as a left wide receiver. He serves as a scout team member heading into his junior season with the Cougars.
