Richmond Ugochukwu is a linebacker for the Houston Cougars standing 6'2" and weighing 220 pounds. The Richardson, Texas native prepped at Berkner High School as a consensus three-star prospect, ranked No. 90 nationally at his position by recruiting services and No. 116 in Texas. He enrolled at Houston in January and appeared in all 13 games during his 2025 freshman season, logging 168 plays with 163 on special teams and 5 on defense. Ugochukwu posted an 87.1 special teams grade against TCU on November 22. He returns to the program as a redshirt freshman in 2026.
