John Hebert is a running back from Houston, Texas who prepped at Strake Jesuit. A four-star recruit, he was ranked No. 140 nationally by recruiting services and No. 8 at his position in the same rankings. In high school, Hebert accumulated 8,000+ career rushing yards and 88 career rushing touchdowns across multiple seasons. He recorded two consecutive seasons with 3,500+ rushing yards and was named 2024 All-District 20-6A MVP. During his final prep season, Hebert rushed for 385 yards in a single game against Fulshear and recorded six touchdowns in contests against both Alief Elsik and Tompkins. He joins Houston as a true freshman for the 2026 class.
