Jack Raney is a placekicker and punter from San Jose, CA who prepped at Bellarmine College Prep. In 2021, he earned All-West Catholic Athletic League Co-Kicker of the Year honors after averaging 35.1 yards per punt with nine punts downed inside the 20-yard line, converting 43 of 46 extra-point attempts and 6 of 11 field goals with a long of 44 yards. He was ranked the 19th-best punter nationally in the class of 2023 by Chris Sailer kicking. Raney spent his freshman season at UC Davis before transferring to Houston, where he redshirted in 2024. The redshirt junior enters the 2025 season on the Cougars roster.
