Hunter Jones is a defensive lineman for the Houston Cougars standing 6'2" and weighing 280 pounds. The junior from Houston, Texas, prepped at Stratford High School, where he recorded 40 tackles (15 solo), 4.5 tackles for loss, and 3.0 sacks as a senior, helping lead his team to an 8-3 record. He also accumulated 58 tackles (18 solo), 5.5 tackles for loss, and 1.0 sack as a junior when Stratford went 10-2. Jones redshirted his freshman year in 2023 while serving on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. He has not seen action in games through his redshirt freshman and sophomore seasons with the Cougars.
