Eythan Thompson is a defensive lineman for the Houston Cougars listed at 6'3" and 330 pounds. The Waco, Texas native prepped at La Vega HS, where he was ranked as the No. 86 interior offensive lineman nationally by recruiting services and No. 187 player in Texas. Thompson also competed in track and field, placing in the shot put and discus at UIL 4A regional championships. A three-star recruit in the 2025 class, Thompson redshirted during his freshman year in 2025 without seeing action. He returns for the 2026 season as a redshirt freshman.
