Demetris Dean II is a 6'4", 300-pound offensive lineman from Jasper, Texas, who committed to Houston as a four-star prospect ranked No. 401 nationally in the 2025 recruiting class. At Jasper High School, he was tabbed No. 22 at his position nationally by recruiting services and No. 34 in Texas. As a sophomore, he earned unanimous First-Team All-District honors while primarily playing right tackle and helped lead his team to the regional finals. Dean also competed in track and field, finishing fourth in the Texas 4A discus finals with a throw of 177 feet, 4 inches. He is currently a redshirt freshman with the Cougars.
