Christian Brathwaite is a 6'2", 220-pound weakside linebacker from Cypress, Texas, who transferred to Houston from LSU. Originally a three-star recruit in the 2023 class, Brathwaite spent his redshirt freshman season at LSU in 2023, appearing in five games with 78 plays on special teams and three tackles. He made his Cougar debut in 2024 against Oklahoma, playing two snaps. In 2025, Brathwaite played in 10 games on defense and special teams, recording two solo tackles and earning a 79.2 tackling grade, ranking fourth on the team.
