Ashton Porter is a defensive end for the Houston Cougars who transferred from Oregon. The Cypress, Texas native was a four-star prospect out of Cy Ranch HS and finished his senior season with 63 tackles, 24.0 tackles for loss, and 15 sacks. At Oregon, he recorded 25 career tackles, 3 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks across three seasons. In 2025, his first year at Houston, Porter appeared in all 15 games and compiled 20 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, one sack, and one pass breakup, earning 70+ defensive grades in all 10 games where he recorded a tackle.
