Lawson Luckie is a 6'4", 240-pound tight end from Norcross, Georgia, who arrived at Georgia as a four-star recruit in the 2023 class. He appeared in seven games as a reserve during his freshman year before earning increased playing time in 2024, when he started seven of 14 contests and recorded 37 receiving yards. In 2025, Luckie played in all 14 games with seven starts, catching 15 passes for 158 yards and four touchdowns. His season peaked against Ole Miss, where he hauled in five receptions for 43 yards and three touchdowns, a feat last accomplished by a Georgia tight end in 1942. Luckie was named to the preseason John Mackey Award and Senior Bowl Top 300 lists.
