Tyrese Woodgett is a running back for Georgia Southern entering his sophomore season. The Douglas, Georgia native transferred to the Eagles after spending 2025-26 at Georgia Military College, where he recorded 1,079 rushing yards, 290 receiving yards, and 14 touchdowns. At Coffee High School, Woodgett earned first-team all-state honors as a senior and was named Region 2-5A Athlete of the Year. He rushed for 3,158 yards and 37 touchdowns across his high school career and set a then-GHSA single-game rushing record with 605 yards and seven touchdowns in a 2024 playoff game.
