Jamarian Samuel is a running back from Ocala, Florida, who attended Trinity Catholic High School before playing two seasons at Hinds Community College. At Hinds, he appeared in 10 games during 2021-22, recording 63 carries for 273 yards and four touchdowns, plus eight receptions for 38 yards. He transferred to Georgia Southern in summer 2023 and was redshirted that season. In 2024-25, Samuel saw limited action across four games, primarily on special teams. During the 2025-26 season, he played in the first four games before sustaining a season-ending shoulder injury. He rushed 12 times for 87 yards and one touchdown, and returned five kickoffs for 85 yards with a long of 20 yards.
