Phillip Gladney is a nickelback for Georgia Southern from Kennesaw, GA, who attended North Cobb High School. A 3-star recruit in the 2024 class, he redshirted in 2024-25 after appearing in one game on special teams. During the 2025-26 season, Gladney played in all 13 games across 256 total snaps, recording eight tackles, one pass breakup, and one fumble recovery. He posted four tackles and a pass breakup against Maine, and tallied tackles in contests at Fresno State, USC, App State, and Coastal Carolina. Gladney also made the Dean's List in fall with a GPA above 3.50.
