Aidan McCowan is a defensive back for Georgia Southern, standing 5'11" and weighing 170 pounds. The Frisco, Texas native attended Frisco Independence High School, where he earned 2022 Defensive Player of the Year honors and First-Team All-District selection at cornerback with three interceptions and 20 pass breakups as a senior. McCowan began his college career at Arkansas in 2023, appearing in one game before redshirting. He played in one game during the 2024-25 season, recording a pass breakup in a win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff, then transferred to Nicholls. In 2025-26, he appeared in 11 games with eight starts for Nicholls, posting 31 tackles including 5.0 for loss, one interception, and one pass breakup before transferring to Georgia Southern in the spring.
