Marcus Downs is a 6'5", 285-pound defensive lineman from Greenville, SC, who attended Riverside High School. A three-star prospect ranked No. 62 nationally at defensive tackle, Downs recorded 37 tackles as a senior in 2023, including 20 solo tackles, six tackles for loss, and three sacks. He earned all-state and all-region honors that year and was selected for the 2023 South Carolina Shrine Bowl. Downs played one game for UCF in 2024-25 before transferring to Georgia Southern in the summer, where he was redshirted.
