Kwon McGinney is a senior defensive lineman at Georgia Southern standing 6'2" and weighing 310 pounds. The Mobile, Alabama native attended Williamson High School before playing at Hutchinson CC and Arkansas State. At Hutchinson in 2024-25, he recorded 23.0 total tackles including 9 solo stops, added 1 sack for 5 yards and 2.5 TFLs across 12 games while helping the Dragons win the NJCAA Division I National Title. McGinney joined Georgia Southern in summer 2025 and appeared in five games, collecting 5 tackles on 89 total plays before suffering a leg injury requiring November surgery that ended his season.
