Jarvis Mathurin is a wide receiver for Georgia Southern from Dacula, Georgia, standing 5'7" and weighing 165 pounds. He attended Hebron Christian School, where he earned first-team all-state honors on the 3A-A Private team as a senior and was named Region 8-2A Athlete of the Year. During his senior season, Mathurin caught 55 passes for 1,091 yards and 13 touchdowns while adding 344 rushing yards. As a junior, he recorded 59 receptions for 1,106 yards and 12 touchdowns and was selected first-team all-region. A 2024 All-American selection by the National Christian School Athletic Association, Mathurin enrolled at Georgia Southern as a true freshman pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering.
