Alex Taylor is a wide receiver for Georgia Southern who transferred to the program in January after two seasons at North Carolina. The Greensboro, NC native played in seven games for the Tar Heels in 2025-26, recording three catches for 27 yards including a 15-yard reception at NC State. He appeared in four games during 2024-25, redshirting while making his collegiate debut against Charlotte and posting his first career catch for 15 yards versus JMU. At Grimsley High School, Taylor accumulated 175 receptions for 2,825 yards and 33 touchdowns over four years as a four-star prospect.
