Jackson Long is a tight end from Hendersonville, Tennessee, who attended Beech High School. As a senior, he recorded 28 catches for 510 yards and five touchdowns while also earning Class 6A-Region 5 Most Valuable Defensive Lineman honors with 49 tackles, eight tackles for a loss, and five sacks. Long redshirted as a freshman at USF in 2022-23 after appearing in one game, then transferred to Georgia Tech, where he did not see action in 2023-24 or 2024-25 before transferring to Georgia Southern in summer 2025.
