Jack Berquist is a true freshman tight end for Georgia Southern, standing 6'3" and weighing 220 pounds. A native of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, Berquist played high school football at Ponte Vedra under Coach Steven Price. As a senior, he recorded 937 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns while averaging 15.7 yards per reception. He finished with 1,500 all-purpose yards and was named FACA First-Team All-District and second-team all-county. Berquist ranked sixth in receiving yards statewide at the 5A level.
