Gavin Kurpis is a long snapper for Georgia Southern who hails from Warner Robins, Georgia, where he attended Houston County High School. As a senior, he earned first-team All-Region 2-5A honors and won the Robbie Hunter MVP Award at the Corky Kell Classic while recording five receiving touchdowns and four rushing touchdowns. During the 2025-26 season, Kurpis was redshirted after appearing in four games, recording 23 special teams plays including action in contests against Coastal Carolina, Old Dominion, Marshall, and App State. He made the Honor Roll in the fall and Dean's List in the spring with a GPA above 3.50.
