Carlo Thompson is a defensive back for Georgia Southern, standing 6'0" and weighing 180 pounds. A Richmond, VA native who attended Varina High School, Thompson redshirted during the 2022-23 season at Virginia before transferring to UNC Pembroke. In 2024-25, he appeared in all 11 games for the Braves, recording 48 tackles including 9.5 for loss, two sacks, an interception, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery, along with three pass breakups. Thompson enrolled at Georgia Southern in January 2025 and made the Dean's List that spring. During the 2025-26 campaign, he played in six games, accumulating four tackles across 74 total snaps.
