Sylas Austin is a 6'3", 230-pound tight end for the Fresno State Bulldogs. A native of Atwater, California, Austin attended Atwater High School, where he played football, basketball, and track. He earned two-time first team all-league honors in football as a wide receiver and tight end, posting 1,000 receiving yards in his senior season and setting a school record with 5 receiving touchdowns in a single game. He also was named first team all-league in basketball. Austin chose Fresno State to pursue his college career due to his family's connection to the program and university.
