Dylan Hampsten is a 6'4", 250-pound right defensive end from Santa Clarita, California, who attended Oaks Christian High School. He redshirted at San Jose State in 2023, then appeared in all 13 games for the Spartans in 2024, recording 19 tackles and one sack. Hampsten transferred to Sacramento State for 2025, where he played in all 12 games with 11 starts. He earned second-team all-Big Sky honors after leading the team with 13.0 tackles for loss and eight sacks while posting 39 total tackles, including 24 solos. He registered his season high of nine tackles against Portland State and forced a fumble in that same matchup.
