Tramell Jones Jr. is a redshirt freshman quarterback for the Florida Gators who stands 6'0" and weighs 199 pounds. A native of Jacksonville, Florida, he attended Mandarin High School, where he recorded 451 completions for 7,197 passing yards and 75 touchdowns with a 59.3% completion percentage. Jones was rated a four-star recruit in the class of 2025 and named an Elite 11 Finalist. During the 2025 season, he appeared in two games, completing 21-of-35 passes for 191 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions. He made his collegiate debut against LIU, completing 12-of-18 passes for 131 yards and two touchdowns, then played the entire second half at Kentucky, going 9-of-17 for 60 yards.
