Mason Clinton is a 6'5", 290-pound defensive tackle from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, who attended Petal High School. He began his college career at Louisiana in 2023, appearing in one game versus Northwestern State before redshirting. Clinton transferred to East Mississippi CC for the 2024 season, recording 27 tackles and 2.0 sacks across seven games while earning a ranking of No. 29 among JUCO players nationally and No. 11 at his position in the 2025 class by recruiting services Industry Rankings. He returned to Southern Miss in 2025, posting 16 tackles (10 solo), 1.5 tackles-for-loss, a quarterback hurry, and a pass breakup in 12 games. Clinton has since transferred to Florida as a redshirt junior.
