KJ Ford is a 6'4", 250-pound defensive end from Dallas, TX who attended Duncanville High School. A 4-star recruit ranked 143rd nationally and 17th at his position, Ford earned three First-Team All-District and two First-Team All-State honors. During his high school career, he recorded 130 tackles, 42 tackles for loss, 14.5 sacks, 41 quarterback hurries, two forced fumbles, and one defensive score. Ford participated in the 2025 Under Armour All-America Game, recording 2 tackles and 1 tackle for loss, and played in the 2025 Polynesian Bowl. He helped lead Duncanville to the Texas 6A D-I state championship in 2023. Ford selected Florida over numerous other programs and joins the Gators as a true freshman.
