Kamran James is a 6'6", 280-pound defensive end for the Florida Gators who arrived as a four-star recruit in the 2023 class. A native of Orlando, Florida, James played his high school football at Olympia. In 2023, he appeared in all 12 games primarily on special teams. During the 2024 season, he started four of 13 contests and recorded 25 tackles (17 solo), one sack, three tackles for loss, and six quarterback hurries. In 2025, James recorded 44 total tackles (23 solo), 3.5 sacks for 24 yards, 4.5 tackles for loss, two pass break ups, and three quarterback hurries across 476 snaps. He earned SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll recognition.
