Elijah Owens is a 6'2", 208-pound safety from Mobile, Alabama, who attended Citronelle High School before playing at Mississippi Gulf Coast CC. During the 2025 season at the junior college level, he appeared in 11 games and recorded 65 tackles (45 solo), three pass breakups, 1.5 tackles-for-loss, and one interception, finishing second on the team in tackles. He posted a career-high 13 tackles and his first interception against Northwest Mississippi CC on November 15. Owens transferred to Florida for the 2026 season.
