Brayden Slade is a 6'1", 192-pound free safety from Coconut Creek, Florida, who attended Monarch High School. A preferred walk-on in 2023, Slade redshirted his first season before appearing in games during 2025. He made his collegiate debut against LIU on August 30, playing six snaps at defensive back, and recorded his first career tackle against No. 20 Tennessee on November 22 after playing 17 snaps on defense. Across 2025, Slade appeared in 27 snaps total, including 26 on defense and one on special teams. He is a two-time SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll selection and graduated cum laude with a degree in Sport Management in Spring 2026.
