Mike Ionata is an offensive lineman from East Lake, Florida, who attended Calvary Christian High School in Clearwater. As a senior, he helped lead the Warriors to an 8-4 record and a second-round appearance in the 2A state playoffs. Calvary Christian's offense averaged 7.1 yards per carry and scored 36 rushing touchdowns during that season. Ionata was rated as a three-star prospect, ranking No. 99 among interior offensive linemen nationally by Rivals and No. 123 by national outlets. He chose Florida State over scholarship offers from North Carolina, West Virginia, and Kentucky. Ionata, who stands 6'6" and weighs 308 pounds, joined the Seminoles as a true freshman in 2026. His father, Joey, was an All-American at Florida State, and his brother, Joseph, plays offensive line at Georgia Tech.
