Mandrell Desir is a 6'4", 270-pound defensive end from Miami, Florida, who attended Norland High School. A three-star recruit ranked 789th nationally in the 2025 class, Desir joined Florida State and appeared in 12 games as a true freshman in 2025. He recorded 30 total tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, and 6.5 sacks, adding one pass breakup. His 6.5 sacks ranked third in FSU freshman history and led all ACC freshmen. Desir earned All-ACC Honorable Mention honors and ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year runner-up distinction. He returns to the Seminoles as a sophomore.
