Deante McCray is a 6'4", 291-pound defensive tackle from Jacksonville, Florida, who transferred to Florida State after three seasons at Western Kentucky. At the Hilltoppers, he appeared in 29 games with 19 starts, recording 104 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks. He earned All-Conference USA Honorable Mention in 2024 and made the Conference USA All-Freshman Team in 2023. In his 2025 redshirt junior season at FSU, McCray played in 12 games with two starts, posting 25 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and 1.0 sacks while earning FSU's Defense Newcomer of the Year award.
