Karson Hobbs is a nickelback from Cincinnati, Ohio, who transferred to Florida State from Notre Dame. At Archbishop Moeller, he was rated as a top-50 cornerback nationally and top-25 player in Ohio by recruiting services, and helped lead his team to a regional championship in 2023. Over two seasons with the Fighting Irish, Hobbs appeared in 16 games with one start, recording seven tackles, one interception, and one pass breakup. In 2025, he posted five tackles and one interception across seven games, including a career-high four tackles in his first career start against Texas A&M and an interception in a win over NC State.
