Gemari Sands is a running back from Fort Lauderdale, FL who attended St. Thomas Aquinas, where he helped the program win state championships in 2021 and 2022. The 5'11", 208-pound redshirt junior spent two seasons at Florida Atlantic before joining Florida State. Over 23 games with the Owls, he rushed 136 times for 582 yards and two touchdowns while adding 43 receptions for 277 yards. In 2025, he appeared in 12 games with four starts, accumulating 465 rushing yards and 217 receiving yards, including a career-high 105 rushing yards on 14 carries against FIU.
