Trey Whirley is a quarterback for Florida International standing 5'11" and weighing 195 pounds. A native of St. Petersburg, Florida, Whirley attended Northeast High School, where he served as team captain and MVP during his senior year. He completed 133-of-221 passes with 22 touchdown passes and accumulated 4,044 all-purpose yards with 40 touchdowns across his prep career. Whirley redshirted during the 2024 season at Toledo and did not appear in games during 2025. He currently holds redshirt sophomore status and is returning to competition as a business major.
