Sterling Joseph is a redshirt freshman running back for Florida International University. The Miami native attended Edison Senior High, where he was named First Team All-Dade in both his junior and senior seasons and led Dade County in rushing as a senior, finishing with 4,586 career rushing yards and 41 touchdowns. In 2025, Joseph appeared in three games and carried the ball seven times for 123 yards and two touchdowns. His 61-yard rushing TD against Sam Houston State on 11/29 set a new FIU freshman record for longest rushing touchdown.
