A three-star recruit in the 2024 class, Lyons appeared in four games as a freshman in 2024, recording 43 rushing attempts for 288 yards and two rushing touchdowns along with four receptions for 26 yards. In 2025, he played in all 13 games, posting 37 carries for 142 yards and one rushing touchdown. He added 12 receptions for 65 yards and contributed two kick returns for 37 yards on special teams.
