Eric Nelson is a wide receiver for Florida International, standing 6'3" and weighing 175 pounds. A native of Miramar, Florida, Nelson arrived at FIU as a three-star recruit in the 2024 class. He appeared in two games during his 2024 freshman season before redshirting. In 2025, Nelson saw action in 12 games, recording eight receptions for 125 yards and one touchdown. His longest reception of the season was 34 yards against Bethune-Cookman (8/29), while he also had three receptions for 39 yards and a touchdown against Kennesaw State (10/21). Nelson returns for the 2026 season as a redshirt sophomore.
