Leon Hart Jr. is a 6'0", 215-pound linebacker for Florida Atlantic, wearing jersey number 6. The Miami Gardens, Florida native attended Edison High School, where he earned first-team all-state honors. Hart initially enrolled at Marshall in spring 2022 and redshirted his freshman year after appearing in one game. He returned home to join the Owls in January 2025 as a redshirt junior. In 2025, Hart recorded 83 total tackles, 38 solo tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, and 1 pass defensed. He posted double-digit tackle performances in six games, including a season-high 14 tackles in the 40-21 win over Tulsa, and earned third-team All-Conference honors.
