Easton Messer, a 5'9" wide receiver from Louisville, Kentucky, played at Western Kentucky before joining Florida Atlantic in January 2025. At WKU as a redshirt sophomore in 2024, he caught 55 passes for 793 yards and four touchdowns across 14 games. In his first season with the Owls, Messer emerged as a prolific receiver and return specialist. He recorded 100 receptions for 1,029 yards and six touchdowns, adding 250 punt return yards on 12 returns. Messer also threw a touchdown pass and scored on a rushing attempt, becoming the first Owl with a receiving TD, passing TD, and rushing TD in one season. He led the nation in receptions per game with 8.67 and earned American Conference second-team honors.
