AJ Johnson is a 6'4", 255-pound tight end from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, who played his high school football at St. Thomas Aquinas. He spent four seasons at Villanova before joining Florida Atlantic in January 2026 as a redshirt senior. During his final year with the Wildcats in 2025, Johnson posted career highs with 20 receptions for 235 yards and five touchdowns, including a game-winning touchdown in overtime against Stony Brook. He appeared in 10 games as a redshirt freshman in 2022 and was limited to nine catches for 100 yards and one touchdown during the 2023 season before missing 2024 due to injury.
