Michael Allen is a running back who transferred to East Carolina in January 2026 from Marshall, where he earned his undergraduate degree in December 2025. The 5'11", 206-pound native of Greenville attended J.H. Rose High School. Allen appeared in 28 collegiate games with seven starts across stops at NC State, UNLV, and Marshall, accumulating 1,331 all-purpose yards (1,012 rushing, 302 receiving, 17 special teams) and eight touchdowns (6 rushing, 2 receiving). In 2025 at Marshall, he played in eight games making four starts, rushing for 385 yards with six touchdowns and catching 12 passes for 139 yards with one score.
