Jaylen Bowden is a 6'1", 180-pound left cornerback from Charlotte who attended Mallard Creek High School, where he earned all-conference honors as a senior. He played two seasons at N.C. Central (2023-24), appearing in 23 career games with 10 starts, recording 26 tackles, one interception, and seven pass breakups. Bowden transferred to Minnesota for the 2025 season, playing in three games and tallying three tackles before moving to East Carolina in January 2026 as a mid-year transfer.
