Hayes Creel is a right tackle from Franklinton, Louisiana, who prepped at St. Paul's School. The 6'7", 320-pound lineman transferred to East Carolina in January 2026 after earning his degree from Southern Miss in December 2025. At Southern Miss in 2025, he started all 13 games as the Golden Eagles went 7-6 and faced Western Kentucky in the New Orleans Bowl. He logged over 1,300 snaps across two seasons at McNeese (2023-2024), where he started 33 of 35 career games. Creel enters his first season with the Pirates having been named Preseason All-American Conference by both Phil Steele Magazine (third team) and Athlon Sports (fourth team).
