Christian Peterson is a 5'10", 185-pound nickelback from Dothan, Alabama, who attended Westlake High School. A four-star prospect rated 56th in Georgia by Rivals, Peterson recorded 14 tackles, one TFL, and two interceptions for 20 yards as a senior in 2023, while catching 17 passes for 196 yards and four touchdowns. He played in 97 career games at UCF, appearing in 12 games in 2025 in a reserve defensive role and on special teams. During his true freshman season in 2024, Peterson returned six kickoffs for 77 yards at a 12.8-yard average across seven games, including returns of 23 yards against Iowa State and 22 yards against BYU. Peterson transferred to East Carolina in January 2026.
